Intergrain Enviropro Timberseal Alcohol Based is a high performance alcohol based sealer that is suitable for most timber types.

This is one of our most successful timber sealers combining incredibly good value with excellent results on timber. Sealing timber before applying finish is an important first step. Some sealers are harder to use, and some are easy-to-use and this one really does fall into the easy-to-use category and provides excellent results.

Timberseal Alcohol Based enhances the natural colour of interior timber and parquetry floors, while helping to reduce the risk of tannin bleed. Timberseal Alcohol Based is lower in odour when compared to traditional solvent based sealers, and is made of >80% sustainably sourced solvents. Timberseal Alcohol Based is designed to minimise grain raise. We recommend sanding the 1st topcoat, and not sanding the sealer.

NOTES

  1. Shake the pack for 1 minute prior to application.
  2. Cut in edges with a brush. Apply Timberseal Alcohol Based at 10 to 12m²/L using a 10-12 MM NAP micro-fibre roller.
  3. Do NOT overwork the coating. Finishing strokes should be in the direction of the timber grain.
  4. The sealer does not need to be sanded

All surfaces must be clean, dry, free of wax, grease, dust and other contaminants. The presence of contaminants increases the possibility of rejection and delamination. Fine sand the floor, finishing with 100 grit sandpaper, then with 150 mesh screenback and vacuum thoroughly with a commercial grade vacuum cleaner.
