It is a hard wearing floor and ideally suited for use in domestic and commercial areas. Many people are surprised to know just how durable oak flooring is. It is an outstanding timber flooring choice and is extremely stable and serviceable in Australian conditions. Indeed, oak is often praised for its stability in temperature variable and humidity variable locations. It’s a top performer. Additionally oak can be stained or coloured to suit individual styles. At VCS we stock a range of Osmo tints which allow for the easy colouring of a timber floor surface and there are a number of contractors in Perth that are becoming proficient at using tints and colours effectively.
Engineered flooring is available in Australian timbers as well and again we offer a comparable thickness of face timber which means that the floors have a good longevity built in.
