NOTES

Prior to application on bare timber it is recommended that the surface be
coated with a Bona primer.
For most floors it is possible to use Bona Classic UX as the initial primer
application. Classic UX maintains an appearance and colour very close
to the newly sanded wood.
On high tannin timbers, such as Blackbutt and Tallowwood, or species
with high levels of natural oils it is recommended to use Bona Intense to
give the best appearance and avoid such issues as tannin bleed. If it is
determined that the colour change is too great compared to using Bona
Classic UX or using Traffic HD Raw for all 3 applications then it should be
understood that tannin bleed or other disturbances to the appearance of
the wood may be evident.
On stable well acclimatised floors the use of a primer may be omitted and
3 finish applications made, although the potential for edge bonding may
be increased in comparison to a standard system. Please note, if Bona
Traffic HD Raw is used for all applications the first coat must be applied
at 8 m2 / Lt and care taken to ensure that the correct coverage rates are
observed.
