3032 oil is widely used in Perth. It is a beautiful oil finish. Sometimes people ask the question ‘What is the best oil for floors?’ The answer is OSMO oil and 3032 is a beautiful and very easy to use choice.

As with all penetrating oils, the floor is sanded in a way that allows for the Oil to penetrate the surface. This is easy to do on local timbers and it works extremely well. Even timbers as hard as Wandoo are regularly coated with 3032 because the floor sanders follow the instructions accurately and do not over sand the surface. Sanding should finish at nothing finer than 100 grit during the sanding process for a penetrating oil. (Normally with Wandoo we have a recommendation second option of using 1101 as the first coat however this has been introduced for situations where it is possible that the floor has been slightly over sanded. This being said, as long as the floor is sanded correctly i.e. not polished, the penetrating oil will do its job and protect the surface correctly.)
