This is extremely important. The so-called ‘wear layer’ is the face timber on the engineered floor. If a floor needs to be re-sanded then this is the material that is sanded. We offer a range of engineered floors with a wear layer up to 6 mm thick in an engineered stable profile ideal for use in timber flooring. The floors can be used in very heavy commercial settings through to family homes and beyond. This is an ideal range of flooring and is now available in a number of different colours and finishes.The Preference Select Australian Species range is manufactured to provide class leading performance underpinned by third party eco-certification and accreditation.
This encompasses our raw material supply and all manufacturing processes. Our Australian timber is sourced from sustained yield forestry operations certified under the Australian Forestry Standards Chain of Custody, (AS4707-2006). Only non-toxic materials are utilised throughout the entire production process
